Due to the increased demand for IV-certified pharmacy technicians and the restrictions being implemented with COVID-19, NPTA is offering three unique pathways for pharmacy technicians to complete their hands-on training and skill validations.
@ OUR TRAINING CENTER
Spend two days at our state-of-the-art simulation training center in Houston for your hands-on training and skill validations. Training dates are now available through December 2020.
@ WORK
Work at a health-system pharmacy that compounds sterile products? If so, you can now have your pharmacist validate your training hours and skill validations on-the-job.
@ HOME
Due to COVID-19, we are temporarily offering an option for students to complete their hands-on training and skill validations at home - using a hybrid of simulation software, video+MockMed product training and one-on-one video-conferencing.
